The new Sniper Elite: Resistance will be released in January. A new trailer now shows the fresh features and game modes in the latest shooter part.

If you're still unsure about whether you want to buy the new shooter Sniper Elite: Resistance at the end of January, Rebellion has a new trailer ready today to get you in the mood and form your opinion. In this video, the developers go into the most important (new) features and also the game modes of the shooter part, which relies on a new protagonist and a new game mode.

In general, the new part follows the plot of Sniper Elite 5, but for the first time you take on the role of Harry Hawker. Like his comrade Karl Fairburne, the previous star of the franchise, Harry is also an agent of the Special Operations Executive and is considered an experienced sniper. He goes undercover in occupied France, where he fights alongside the Resistance and discovers a miracle weapon that could decide the war.

The latest shooter part has a new campaign based on this story, which can be played in both single player and online co-op mode. There is also the comeback of the invasion mode, but also the brand new propaganda mode, which is the subject of the video. This is unlocked by discovering propaganda posters hidden in the main campaign. In the mode itself, various rapid-fire, timed challenges await you as a resistance fighter.

Otherwise there are various features that you know from the series. The sniper mechanics, stealth elements, tactical combat, and weapon customization options are just a few examples. Missions can be completed in many different ways, and there are also optional kill list objectives, various infiltration and extraction points and more to discover.

Sniper Elite: Resistance will be released on January 30, 2025 for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC (Windows, Steam, Epic Games Store); the title is also directly part of Microsoft's Game Pass. The new trailer is attached for you to see.
