Announced at The Game Awards 2021, Sonic Frontiers plans to launch for PlayStation, Xbox, Switch and PC this holiday season.
This is the latest 3D entry in the Sonic series. The story tells the story of Lan Wangji and his friends hunting down Dr. Egghead who has lost control of “ancient technology”.
It will feature an evolved gaming experience where players will be able to explore lush, expansive landscapes with Sonic’s signature speed and capabilities.
According to Sega, we can expect “many twists and turns around every corner” and expect to see more in the months leading up to launch.
