The card in Sons of the Forest is huge and there is also no fast travel function with which you can get from A to B in seconds.
The best option for quick transport is therefore the zipline: For this you first have to find the rope gun and then tighten ziplines between trees, posts and other structures, which you can then use to quickly hiss across the map.
A player and his friends have now built a pretty impressive zip line that allows them to cross the entire map in just three minutes.

On Reddit the player named Chill-Zombie shared the impressive structure of his group of friends. Players have set up their base to the west of the map, near the abandoned camp where the can opener can be found.
From there, the group set up numerous ziplines between buildings, trees, and posts in order to reach the top of the snowy mountain – and almost the other end of the map – in record time.
The whole thing is not only practical, but also provides a great overview of the picturesque surroundings (and one or two cannibal camps) – but it’s best to see for yourself in the following video:

More Sons of the Forest
Aside from the giant zip line, there are tons of other strange stories happening in the first few days after Sons of the Forest’s Early Access release. Some players go bird hunting armed with tree trunks, while the clumsy AI companion Kelvin has cheated his way to the secret star.
