With the firmware version 6.7205, which is now available for download for Sony Bravia Smart TV models with KD model num ber, an annoying problem should finally be a thing of the past:
The Bravia TVs occasionally restart against your will, which appears to be related to connected HDMI devices. The firmware update should now make this malfunction disappear.

On the update page, Sony points out that although none of your personal data will be lost as a result of the firmware update, it is also not possible to switch back to an older firmware version after the update.
