It seems that Sony's large-scale PS5 event will be held next month.
Microsoft has now hosted its first next-generation display case, and everyone is expecting Sony to reveal what it is doing.
Of course, we have introduced the new DualSense controller briefly, and everyone has watched the highly technical Mark Cerny demo, but have not seen the box. What's more, we don't understand Sony's game plan at all.
According to Bloomberg ’s Jason Schreier, Sony is currently planning to hold its own speech sometime in June, although Schreier emphasized that the plan may change due to the coronavirus.
"So far, as far as I know, Sony is still expected to complete at least one thing by early June or mid-June," he revealed in the latest episode of Press Start Podcast.
"To illustrate all this with a huge warning, we are in an unprecedented global pandemic, and everything is possible."
This is similar to Venture Beat's Jeff Grubb shared on the Resetera forum in April. According to Grub, this will be an event on June 4, but Sony may show its hardware earlier.
As Schreier pointed out, it is currently best to consume all of these with a grain of salt. In other words, it's nice to know that we hope to learn more about Sony's plans without waiting too long.
