With reports of CSGO 2 being both real and playable in the near future, people online have been using their imaginations (and sense of humor) to imagine what the future of the map Dust 2 might look like.
It’s all popping up on Twitter, which is known to be the epicenter of all the best gaming industry stunts. It’s clear that while competitive FPS fans are desperate for an official word, the memes will continue to circulate.

However, they were just beaten by EV_Cartman, who released a short video of the Dust 2 map in the GTA 5 engine. In it, we see someone AWPing in the middle, as you’d expect, followed by a disgusting BMX crush, mid-air headshot, and drive-by shot. We saw the falling car destroy the bomb site, which I must admit made me laugh out loud.
As fun as it is, all of this is of course hyping up a game that was on many people’s wishlists just a week ago. Thanks to some great reports, we know an update is likely on the way, but until we have an official peak at Counter-Strike’s future, all we can do is sit down and release it.
