It’s no secret that Spider-Man 2 has been in development for quite some time. So far, however, there has been no big reveal with gameplay from Insomniac Games. Various tweets are now suggesting that the reveal will take place shortly.
Among PlayStation exclusives, Insomniac Games’ Marvel’s Spider-Man is certainly one of the bigger blockbusters. No wonder, then, that the studio has been working on Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 for quite some time. However, we haven’t seen any gameplay yet. That could change soon, as various tweets suggest.

But please don’t expect any concrete statements now, the employees of Insomniac Games are much more teasing around. Community director James Stevenson shared a gif showing a red Spidey and a black Spidey. However, he did not comment on it. In a tweet from community manager Aaron Jason Espinoza, on the other hand, a year is shared with “2023”. That could at least suggest that we can expect the Reveal sometime next year.
A revelation at the beginning of the year is obvious insofar as Insomniac Games has already stated in the past that the title would be released in 2023. This would give you enough time to get the fans excited and release it for the Christmas season, for example. Of course, these are just wild speculations on our part, if the developers have something more specific, you will of course read it from us first. After all, the title was briefly listed in the British PlayStation Store, but the site is currently no longer available.
