Alone Spider-Man against all
You liked Miles Morales Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse ? You might like the young hero Spider-Man in Spider-Verse. Young Miles is indeed returning in a few weeks for new adventures in the multiverse. This time he must face (at least initially) a new antagonist: La Tache, a supervillain full of interdimensional portals. The opportunity for Miles to attack the different dimensions and find his girlfriend Gwen Stacy but also many other Spider-Men.
But Spider-Man in Spider-VerseFor Miles Morales, it’s mostly an opportunity to ask real questions about his position as a hero. He will indeed find himself in a most delicate situation: “Your choice is to save one person or save everyone” we find out in the new trailer for the film (at the top of this article). And the least we can say is that this dilemma will put young Miles in a very complicated situation. Although the “Spider-Man Society”led by Miguel O’Hara, will turn against him. And given the number of Spider-Men included, the rest of the adventure promises to be tough for our young hero.
Spider-Cat and Spider-Man Across the Spider-Verse
Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse already offered us the opportunity to discover many Spider-Men. Between the usual Spider-Man, Miles Morales, Spider-Ham, Spider-Gwen, SP//dr or Spider-Man Noir, there was something for everyone. Spider-Man 2099 even made an appearance in the post-credits scene. But Spider-Man in Spider-Verse will push the concept even further. We could see the connected Spider-Byte, Spider-Woman Jessica Drew, Indian Spider-Man Pavitr Prabhakar and Spider-Punk Hobart Brown. But this new trailer allowed us to discover a particularly atypical Spider-Man in the spirit of Spider-Ham: spider cat.
As the name suggests, Spider-Cat is nothing more than a cat. He first appeared in the rich universe of Spider-Man in the first issue of 2011 Spider Island: I love New York City. And the least we can say is that his story is one of the funniest. This cat uses her Spider-Man powers to fight crimes during the day, but has strange nightmares about a pigeon named Venom at night. I’m not sure if we’re going to fully explore his story, but his presence is still enough to make fans and newcomers smile. Without a doubt, this new animated film will be just as funny as its predecessor. At least that’s what this new trailer seems to show us once again. It remains to be seen what the film will offer overall. as a reminder opposite Spider-Man The Spider-Verse hits French cinemas on May 31st.
