Square Enix has announced Dragon Quest Tact, which will arrive on Android and iOS this 2020, for now only to Japan. It is a free to play game, like most mobile titles, which has in-game purchases.
Dragon Quest Tact is a tactical role-playing game in which players command and fight against known monsters of the mythical Dragon Quest saga. The combat features the typical elements of the turn-based combat system by which the Dragon Quest saga is known, while 3D monsters fight over a battle map separated by grids.
The game features interesting elements that can attract the attention of Dragon Quest fans worldwide, the problem is that the game only counts – for the moment – with location in Japanese and it does not seem that it will leave its borders in the near future.
The official website of the game gives us certain details of the staff members who lead this project:

At the moment we do not know if this game will reach our lands, but we wish it to be so, of course it looks very good.
