Square Enix will host a final fantasy 7 25th Anniversary Celebration live next week.
Airing on June 16th, the livestream will last about 10 minutes, and while we don’t know what Square has, there may be some news about Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 2. You never know.
Fans of Final Fantasy will want to tune in anyway, and can tune in from 3pm PT, 6pm ET, 11pm UK.
The developers of the yet-to-be-named Final Fantasy 7 Remake sequel have previously stated that the team’s goal is to provide the rest of the Final Fantasy 7 universe with the same level of detail we saw in Midgar. The team must not only surprise the players, but also surpass [players’] expect.
Additionally, the team is working on making the combat system deeper. It plans to use new mechanics and elements to do just that.
That said, there’s been very little news about Part 2 and it hasn’t been officially announced; however, we do know that the development team wants to continue to subvert fan expectations.
