Star Citizen remains in alpha status and in development. You can now see for yourself the current status without any financial risk – thanks to another free fly event.
Cloud Imperium Games once again invites all interested players to try out Star Citizen in its current state and convince themselves of the space epic. The first free fly event of the young year 2024 has now been announced, which has been running since yesterday, February 8th, and runs until February 15th, 2024.
As a result, you will receive free access to the game and to five of the countless ships – from the luxurious Origin 400i to MISC’s Prospector. At the same time, you can also try out the latest alpha content, which was implemented as part of alpha update 3.22 called “Wrecks to Riches” in December 2023. This brought expanded PvP content in Jumptown, new open-world content, 20 new hairstyles, Arena Commander improvements and more. You can also find further details about the free fly event on the official website
The event is accompanied by two in-game celebrations: Coramor and Red Festival. These are the in-game equivalents of Valentine’s Day and Lunar New Year. Coramor is active since yesterday until February 15th, the Red Festival runs even longer until February 26th and celebrates the Lunar New Year 2954.
