Star Citizen – The XenoThreat group introduces itself and attacks Stanton
Star Citizen is taking another important step on its way to becoming a live service game. After the developer announced dynamic events with the release of Alpha 3.12, the first one will start in 2020. That sends you to a Battle against the XenoThreat group.
The first indications of this event appeared in October 2019. The developer has now published the teaser video included above via a press release. The terrorist organization XenoThreat introduces itself and declares that they are now in control.
All information about the event “Assault on Stanton”
The event is called “Assault on Stanton” and will be the first ever dynamic Star Citizen event. This means that it will be different depending on how successful the players are against the threat.
How to participate: Once you are logged into the game, you should look out for a mission from the Civilian Defense Force (CDF). You will probably find this in your mobiGlass.
How long does the event last? No precise statements can be made about the duration of the event. While the developer plans to last a few days, the end depends on how successfully players deal with the threat.
Even though the event only lasts for a few days, you don’t have to worry if you miss it or if you found it too short in the end. According to the latest Alpha 3.12, these events should take place every quarter:

Fight against a battleship: As has long been rumored, in the course of the invasion you will have the chance to fight an Idris-class frigate. However, it will not be alone, but will be supported by a complete fleet. The developer himself promises a very big battle that you will fight together with the other players on the server.
Is there a reward? So far, the developer has not disclosed any information regarding a reward for participating in the event. It is not excluded that you may be able to unlock things like skins or the like, but it is not guaranteed.
When does it start? The event is scheduled to start in the week of December 21-27, 2020. However, the team has not yet given an exact date. You meanwhile just refer to the official website as well her twitter channel. On these you will announce new information.
