Stardew Valley is four years old this week, and independent developer ConcertedApe has announced a new free content update to celebrate.
Independent developer Eric Barone wrote on his Twitter account that Update 1.5 is currently being developed. Although he hasn't revealed the exact content, you can expect free content updates to be cumbersome if Update 1.4 is coming soon.
Thank you for your best wishes for the 4th anniversary of Stardew Valley. It is an honor and I look forward to another wonderful year! Now that 1.4 is available on all expected platforms, I want to announce that there will be another free content update (1.5) .. It is under development!

The 1.4 update introduces a new endgame mystery, involving Stardew Valley's once-mysterious abandoned building, new ways to interact with spouses, fish ponds, massive multiplayer friendly maps, and improved gameplay.
Earlier this month, Barone revealed that he was working on two new games in the Stardew Valley universe, but this is by no means an agricultural game. According to Barone, one of these two untitled games will have a 32 × 32 pixel tile with twice the details of Stardew Valley, as well as better music, narrative and sound design. The second heading is smaller, so we will most likely see it first.
Since its release in February 2016, Stardew Valley has sold more than 10 million copies worldwide.
