- Episode 3 of “Star Trek: Picard” season 2 takes us to the Los Angeles of the year 2024.
- However, the time travel costs the crew the life of a member, which is very devastating to the others.
- In Los Angeles, the “Watcher” must be found in order to “fix” the timeline.
Episode 3 continues the story of “Star Trek: Picard” Season 2. After the La Sirena is taken by invaders, the Picard crew fights back. The invaders are neutralized, but Elnor (Evan Evagora) is fatally injured. His death takes a toll on Raffi (Michelle Hurd).
Action must now be taken quickly, because there is a chance of bringing Elnor back if they get the timeline “repaired”. Arriving in 2024, Raffi, Seven (Jeri Ryan) and Rios (Santiago Cabrera) are beamed to Los Angeles. While Raffi and Seven are looking for the “Watcher” from there, Rios ends up in a doctor’s office due to a small accident.
There he is taken for an illegal immigrant without any ID. The doctor is well disposed towards him and other refugees and helps them, but the police raid the place and Rios are arrested. His comlink lags behind in practice.
Meanwhile, Agnes Jurati (Alison Pill) and Jean-Luc (Patrick Stewart) try to wake up the Borg Queen (Annie Wersching). For this, Agnes goes to the Borg collective, by being attached to the queen. It can be unplugged by Picard before being assimilated.
Agnes was able to steal vital information about the Watcher’s whereabouts from the Borg Queen’s subconscious. However, she is now very impressed by Agnes, which is why Jean-Luc advises her to keep her distance.
