The game Star Wars: Battlefront, which debuted in 2004, has added multiplayer via Steam. The title I originally included this feature through GameSpy, But when this system disappeared in 2014 I left the title lame.
The legendary Star Wars️ Battlefront (Classic, 2004) now features multiplayer cross play between GOG GALAXY and Steam! ✨

The loss of multiplayer functions was undoubtedly an important factor for EA to bet on Star Wars Battlefront
Those functions, however, are not optimal, as they are not prepared for fluctuations of the connections through the internet and all the technical problems that can be derived from the loss of information packages, lag, etc., which are common for Internet connections.
With this new update the game integrates native multiplayer online through Steam and also more languages: the title is now also in spanish, french, italian and german. Includes more sound options, menu enhancements, bug fixes, and other enhancements.
On the negative side, many members of the community comment that the title it is now limited to 30 images per second (although this parameter can be changed manually by modifying the title files). Also, it appears that the drawing distance from the horizon has been reduced.
Although the original title allows up to 64 simultaneous players, for now it seems that in Steam is limited to 32, although on the other hand it allows cross play with the GOG version
