In Star Wars Jedi: Survivor you will have to walk around a lot less than in the predecessor. But not because the game world is smaller. Instead, the developers build in targeted features that minimize unnecessary paths and make your life easier.
EA and Respawn Entertainment provided a little surprise in 2019 with Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. Actually, little could go wrong with the combination of a huge brand and Sekiro mechanics, but you never know. Hardly anyone suspected that the game systems meshed so well. However, not everything was perfect. For example, the sometimes very long walking distances that the game put in front of you. As can now be seen from an interview, these are mostly a thing of the past.

On the one hand, this is ensured by fast travel. Exactly, unlike its predecessor, you can teleport to certain points in the game world in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. This was announced by Stig Asmussen, the title’s game director, in an interview with Play Magazine. But that’s not the end of the comfort features.
In the interview, Asmussen continues: “We will offer both fast travel and rideable creatures to allow players to quickly get from point A to B and back to A. Fast travel works from point to point and the rideable creatures provide a way around move quickly between points and explore what lies between them.”
So good news for all of you who are lazy. But trophy hunters should also like the additions. Now we only have one question left to answer: on the backs of which beasts can we swing?
Stupidly, you still have to wait a bit before you can discover the mounts. Star Wars Jedi: Survivor was recently pushed back a few weeks. The release on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S is now April 28th and not March 17th.
As promised, the official reveal trailer for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor was shown at the Game Awards.
