In our PS5 Star Wars Jedi: Survivor review, C onnor gave the game four stars, calling it “a step up from its predecessor and a lot of fun, as long as you don’t get that obsessed with collectibles.” predators control you.”
“It’s not a narrative masterpiece, and it’s not the most engaging action game in the world,” he said, “but it doesn’t do anything bad, and it does well where it matters.”
In Digital Foundry’s review, the game was called “the worst AAA PC port of 2023 so far” and the code quality was “totally unacceptable”. It singles out shader compilation stutters, traversal stutters, CPU throttling, “incomprehensible settings menus with little utility,” poor FSR2 implementation, and lack of DLSS or XeSS in particular.
The review goes on to state that “nearly every bug that could be on a PC port is present and correct in this poor build”, which is a tragedy because the game “looks great”.
