A mysterious Star Wars game has appeared on the PlayStation Network. Fans already have some guesses as to what it could be.

A new Star Wars game is always something special. Especially when nobody expects it. So soon after Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order nobody expects a new title anytime soon. But that is possibly what happens. A bot that browses the PlayStation Network has come across a novelty called Star Wars: Project Maverick. Apart from a picture on which the name and a couple of X-wingers and a star destroyer can be seen in the background, nothing is known about the project yet.

It is precisely these details that are already fueling initial speculation among fans. It is already suspected that it could be a remaster by Rogue Squadron. The 3D shoot-'em-up, published in 1998, received one positive rating after the other mainly because of its advanced technology.
