The chickens are saved! Stardew Valley players hear my voice now, the recent issue of large numbers of poultry being knocked over by a nasty bug around new grassy farms has finally been resolved. Thank you, Mr. ConcernedApe (the sole creator of Stardew Valley), for your thoughts on birds in these crazy times.
The good news comes via a short and sweet bug fix patch released today, with a PlayStation patch set to be released in the near future. Fixes include improved Russian and French translations, some crash fixes, and of course a fix for chickens suddenly disappearing from the game when players were building a Meadowlands farm.

When ConcernedApe first became aware of the bug, they informed the community about the situation via Twitter. They even provide some in-game lore to prove this, namely a coyote catching chickens on a farm. So when you think about it, there is never a mistake! The coyotes have moved on. There is good news everywhere.
Stardew Valley is an industry giant that has become a home away from home for thousands of people. This is still the case today, even though the sole developer responsible for the project has turned its focus to a new project called “Haunted Chocolatier.” He said he understands the pressure to release a game is there, but he also agrees with us that it’s better to take your time and make sure the game is great rather than rush it out.
The bar must be high, especially considering the popularity of Stardew Valley. Even so, it’s nice to see that, despite the focus on the future, it will still take time to update and improve Stardew Valley. If you’re not already into it, it’s worth playing anyway. A true classic, a real one. Trend-setting and incredibly stylish.
