Starfield Todd Howard Shares a Few Details About Mod Support, Character Creation & More
Director of Starfield Todd Howard answer some questions through a Reddit AMA which revealed a few details about the upcoming sci-fi title Starfield. What was covered were details about companions including whether there were robot companions in particular to which Howard replied “yes, kind of”.
In terms of character creation, he is very excited about what the team is developing which includes background, skills and more. Players will be able to choose their own pronouns (he, she, they) and all relevant dialogue will support this choice.
Starfield also will have full mod support which is common with previous Bethesda games, as there has definitely been quite the community of modders when to comes to such previous titles such as The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
There was also a video published on the Bethesda YT channel featuring Inon Zur the composer of Starfield, who teases a “surprise” for fans coming with the Skyrim’s 10th anniversary concert which is happening today. The pre-show starts at 1:30 PM ET on the official Skyrim anniversary website.
The 10th anniversary for Skyrim is today, with new features now launch for the Skyrim Special Edition and the newly launch Skyrim Anniversary Edition which includes all DLC plus 500+ pieces of Creation Club content.
