Valve has once again commented on the current state of affairs with the Steam Deck and this time everything seems to be moving in the green. No further postponements, the launch period is fixed.

Do you believe the new one? Status report from Valve

, nothing stands in the way of the release of the Steam Deck. Regardless of global pandemics, supply issues, and shipping issues, it looks like Valve could start rolling out the Steam deck by the end of February. This is good news, as the release originally planned for the end of 2021 had to be postponed due to supply bottlenecks.

Valve has apparently already distributed hundreds of devkits to the developer studios to give them the opportunity to test their games and make adjustments if necessary. The developers now have all the means to have their games verified in terms of compatibility, controller support and the required resolutions. The distribution of devkits should continue continuously.

Valve will die Games for the Steam Deck with four categories flag: Verified, Playable, Unsupported and Unknown.
