In the flight simulation Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown you become a pilot of a fighter jet. When it was released in 2019, the game captivated with brilliant weather effects and action-packed gameplay, but both are still impressive today. Although in Ace Combat you just fly a series of missions and fight enemy jets, the developers managed to make their gameplay quite varied.
In the campaign, you fight as a pilot against a fictional nation that is invading its neighboring countries with a fleet of remote-controlled fighter planes. Between fights, cutscenes and radio messages tell of the world and the fates of other characters. However, you have to rely on your knowledge of English for the story, as there is no Europe language version. You will only understand some allusions if you have already played the predecessors.
But if that doesn’t put you off, you can look forward to varied single-player missions, smooth gameplay, breathtaking weather effects, good graphics and an impressive soundtrack.
