Cyberpunk 2077’s sequel will feature a second city alongside Night City, according to series creator Mike Pondsmith.

But most notably, the sequel is listed as releasing before Project Witcheswith a firm deadline: it must launch before the end of 2026.

That means, if all goes to plan, Stellar Blade 2 could release as early as 2025—possibly less than a year from now.

Given the investor-facing nature of the presentation, Shift Up is staking its credibility on this timeline, signaling strong confidence in hitting their target.

Studio Growth and Global Expansion

To meet this goal, Shift Up is expanding its workforce—rewarded well for their success with the first game. They’ve already opened a new branch in Los Angeles, funded by strong profits last year.

Much of that income comes from Goddess of Victory: Nikketheir consistent mobile hit. They also expect the PC version of Stellar Blade to outperform even the PS5 release.

The PC port launches on June 12
offering a perfect way to tide fans over while they wait for Stellar Blade 2—possibly arriving as early as next year.
