Game news Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin: A finally smooth PC version?
Action-RPG Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin, released on March 18th, didn’t really manage to win over the audience, mainly because of outdated technology, very strange scenes and too “corridor” level design.
But it was Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin’s engineering that frustrated gamers, especially those who acquired the title on PC.
An outdated technique and many problems to be corrected
Square Enix is not known for optimizing these PC games, but the feedback has been particularly negative in the case of this unreleased title. The main concern seemed to come from Souls Burst, a final technique that brought the framerate to its knees. The general rendering was also considered too dark and too “pixelated”, while the sight range appeared weak without forgetting Aliasing, clipping and not very detailed textures. In an attempt to make things better Many updates have been deployedand a new patch now corrects an element that caused PC resource usage to explode.
A saving update?
Square Enix rolled out on May 17th the 1.04 update, which rebalances gameplay and rewards, new features have been added to the user interface, as well as algorithms that correct aliasing on the console. Furthermore, The development team also implemented a combat simulator, which allows you to test jobs and gear sets without having to start a mission. But what interests us most it is the correction of hair models
The hair and fur models associated with celebrity characters have been reworked to improve performance.
Obviously this update relieves the game engine enormouslyand thus the PC performance. So don’t forget to download it if you don’t have auto update enabled as it can make the experience much more enjoyable. So Stranger of Paradise is finally liquid? Well, overall yes, but many bugs still need to be fixed and the overall appearance of the title remains dated. Square Enix has already planned to provide more updates, so until the next installment.
