As the AAA video game industry appears to have entered a period of navel-gazing coupled with risk aversion, Square Enix unveiled its Souls-like prequel to the first-ever Final Fantasy during E3 with Stranger of Paradise.
If the informed players have already had the chance to recognize (and wonder about) the few protagonists of this episode, which chronologically precedes Final Fantasy, the editor continues the presentation by revealing some of the characters we met during the Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin Adventure. If some familiar minds will undoubtedly bring back some memories, new ones will be added to thicken the universe of this chaos-ridden game.
Captain Bikke
A pirate captain who rules the city of Pravoka like a governor. His preferred weapon is the two-handed ax, which he wields frantically. With the seas darkened, piracy is no longer what it used to be. The ships he attacked earlier, whose holds are filled with the treasures he stole from them, no longer dare to go there.
The King of Cornelia
The ruler of Cornelia. The King sees something extraordinary in Jack and his longing to stop the chaos. All their hopes rest on him.
Chancellor Lagon
A shrewd chancellor who tirelessly searches for the people described in Lukahn’s prophecy. He decides to transcribe the adventures of Jack and his comrades for posterity.
Queen Jeanne
Sarah and Mia’s mother. Quiet and down to earth, she always puts her daughters and the people of Cornelia first.
my
Like her big sister Sarah, the fate of the people in Cornelia is very important to Mia and is not afraid to stand up to the Chancellor.
So much for the presentations, the most curious can also stroll our image gallery to discover other visuals devoted to the game’s confrontations, many of which we naturally envision.
If the chaos isn’t its own, the Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin prequel will be released on March 18, 2022 on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S and PC appear.
