news culture Stranger Things: A Spin-Off Teased By One Of The Season 4 Stars?
We’re slowly but surely approaching the end of Stranger Things with the arrival of Season 4 later this month. After that, a fifth and final season is set to complete the adventures of the small-town Hawkins gang of friends. And on the fringes of the main series, a cast member would see a spin-off focused on their character.
Stranger Things 4: The Beginning of the End
With the arrival of Season 4, we are gradually moving towards the final episodes of Stranger Things. As the producers have already explained, a fifth and final season will close the mysteries of Hawkins. If season four has been delayed due to the pandemic, hopefully the final installment of episodes will arrive sooner.
On May 27th, fans of the series can find Eleven and her gang as they face an unprecedented evil. Police Chief Jim Hopper faces many dangers when he is imprisoned thousands of miles from Hawkins in the middle of the Siberian steppes. So this script core represents this fourth season, followed by a fifth that we don’t know about yet.
On the sidelines of this main story, the Duffer brothers (creators of the series) had already announced their project spin off. Nothing official yet for this new program, but some actors have already spoken out. Such is the case of Natalia Dyer, the interpreter of Nancy Wheeler, who would love to get involved again to play her character again.
Heading for a Nancy Wheeler spin-off?
During a recent interview with Cosmopolitan magazine, the actress opened up about the idea of a potential spin-off dedicated to her character:
I wouldn’t say no if the Duffer brothers were involved. I always thought Nancy would become some kind of detective, cool spy, hunter of secret monsters (…).
Nancy Wheeler, heroine of the Stranger Things spin-off? While the idea is quite tempting, given the popularity of each character, we tend to lean towards other characters, starting with Eleven, of course. At the moment we don’t know anything specific about this spin-off project, but we’re happy to admit that every resident of the small town of Hawkins deserves a series of their own. We’ll have to wait for more information from Netflix or the Duffer brothers themselves before we know the plot of this project.
