Regimental Trailer unleashes realistic real-time battles in 80’s Europey
MicroProse was a real institution for good strategy and city-building games in the 1990s: Big names like Civilization, X-COM, Master of Orion and Rollercoaster Tycoon appeared under the Australian company’s flag.
After its inglorious end in 2003, MicroProse was re-founded in 2019 and wants to re-establish itself as a publisher for strategy, construction and simulation games and has some exciting projects in development. With Regiments, a first big beacon of hope appears this week.
What’s the matter? Regiments is set in an alternate reality where the Cold War has escalated in 1989 and Europey becomes the scene of battles between NATO and the Warsaw Pact.
if pure single player game The focus here is on the story campaign, in which you will experience the events of the fictional Third World War from different perspectives – playable factions include West and East Europey, the USA, and the Soviet Union, among others.
By the way, in the tactical battles you command on a large scale. Instead of controlling each soldier individually, you command a complete regiment with thousands of soldiers. There are also over 100 authentically reproduced vehicle models from iconic vehicles such as the Leopard 2, the T-72M or the M2 Bradley Fighting Vehicle.
