Capcom has announced another beta test phase for the fighting game Street Fighter 6. This second beta is also a closed test phase that will be held on the PS5, Xbox Series X/S and Steam platforms. It starts on December 16th and ends before Christmas on December 19th; The developers then evaluate feedback and the experiences of the test phase.
How can you be there? To stand a chance, you must on the official website have registered for the game by December 11, 3:59 p.m. German time. If you are lucky, you will then be informed by email about your invitation to the test phase by December 14th at the latest. All gamers who were on board during the first test phase will be able to take part in the second beta.
Side note: After the first beta sold unauthorized entry codes, Capcom has made some changes here. When registering for the trial period, you must link your Capcom ID to your respective platform account.
The selection process is otherwise random; so you cannot influence in any way whether you are there or not. In this respect, the chance for all interested players is the same.
The aim of this second beta is to find potential bugs in order to then be able to eliminate them. In addition, the game quality should of course be adjusted in general before the global launch; Capcom also evaluates player feedback. Participants will also be able to communicate this as part of a survey at the end of the beta test.
There is also information about the content of the beta: eight playable characters are on board in the form of Luke, Jamie, Ryu, Chun-Li, Guile Ken, Kimberley and Juri. There are a variety of customization options for your avatar that appears in the Battle Hub. Modes include Training, Ranked Matches, Extreme Battles, Casual Matches, and Game Center Challenges. Cross-play and a photo mode are also unlocked in the beta.
