Also a short topic at last night’s State of Play: Street Fighter 6. A fresh gameplay trailer was shown, which confirmed three more characters for the new fighting game.
Capcom was also present at Sony’s State of Play yesterday and not only had a new trailer for Resident Evil 4 Remake with them. Street Fighter 6 also played a role and was given fresh moving pictures – and they also confirmed three other fighters for the beat’em up.
The roster for the new brawler will also feature Cammy, Lily and Zangief, all of whom you can see in action in the trailer below. These three characters round out the game’s launch roster, which consists of a total of 18 fighters.
Cammy made her debut in Super Street Fighter 2 and now returns in the new game with her family attacks. Their skills also include Spiral Arrow, Cannon Spike or Hooligan Combination. The trailer also shows the stage belonging to Cammy with King Street.
Lily, on the other hand, is a completely new character who belongs to the Thunderfoot race – just like T. Hawk. In addition to Lily, Jamie, Kimberly, Manon, Marisa and JP are also known to be new protagonists in Street Fighter 6. Last but not least, Zangief returns from Street Fighter 2.
The complete roster had basically been leaked months ago, so there weren’t necessarily many surprises from the official side. The title is scheduled to be released on June 2nd, 2023 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC and Xbox Series X/S.
