Ghost of Tsushima will no longer receive any planned patches, by sucker Punch in the notes for the latest patch.
Earlier this week (April 12), Sucker Punch released patch 2.18 for Ghost of Tsushima, and according to the developers, it has no more patches planned. In the patch notes, Sucker Punch said it “is not actively developing any other patches at this time,” although it did say it would “monitor feedback on the community-run Gotlegends subreddit” and any messages sent to the studio for any major bugs or issues. Twitter account.
Sucker Punch also thanked players for all their support for the game. “We would like to thank the entire community for the tremendous support and feedback we have received since launch. When Legends was released in October 2020, we never imagined there would be such an active community more than a year and a half later , we are very grateful to everyone who accompanied us along the way.”
Patch notes focus on indie multiplayer bug fixes and item tweaks Ghost of Tsushima: Legends. Fixes include a very rare bug where the tutorial could not be completed, and another bug where silver and gold survival missions would display incorrect mission modifiers.
Some changes have been made to the base game, such as new game merchants holding more silk inventory, and fixed dialogue and cutscenes.
The fact that Ghost of Tsushima didn’t receive any planned patches isn’t surprising considering that it came out about two years ago, although given that Legend is an online game, this probably won’t be the last patch .
It could also mean that Sucker Punch is working on its next game, but again, it’s no surprise to see that AAA studios will, for the most part, never stop making games.
