Even though E3 is cancelled, we don’t have to miss out on a wild June full of announcements and new information. The Summer Game Fest now confirms over 40 partners.
The second week of June will be tough again even without E3 in Los Angeles, because industry showman Geoff Keighley seems to be letting things rip again. As confirmed by Keighley, he’s secured over 40 developers and publishers showing new footage on upcoming games at the June 8 show, but he’s sure to have the odd announcement or two unleashed upon mankind – even Microsoft and Sony are there.
The actual event kicks off on June 8th with a grand showcase broadcast from the YouTube Theater in Inglewood, California. Probably as we know it – with tons of trailers and announcements. Immediately afterwards, the indies will have their say in another live stream entitled Day of the Devs.
There are other events sailing under the Summer Game Fest flag that fans are curiously waiting for. Microsoft’s Xbox Showcase will follow on June 11th, followed by the Starfield Direct and you can bookmark the next Ubisoft Forward for June 12th.
