Announced during Nintendo Direct in Summer 2023, Super Mario RPG is making its big comeback on Nintendo Switch in the form of a remake scheduled for November 17th.
Super Mario RPG was released on Super Nintendo in 1996 and is a role-playing game developed by Square Enix set in the Mario universe. Even though the game didn’t have a direct sequel, it did have spiritual successors like the Paper Mario or Mario and Luigi series. 25 years later, this iconic SNES title gets a remake on Nintendo Switch with updated graphics but with an atmosphere that remains intact. The release date is set for November 17th.
