The moustache-bearer Mario is truly a jack of all trades. He’s been a plumber, tennis pro, golfer, racing driver, and doctor. All that hard work can make you sweat and after a hard day of heroes, what’s better than a nice bath? At least the cosmetics company Lush thought so.
The theatrical release of Super Mario Bros. is not far away. From April 7, 2023, the strip from Nintendo and Illumination Productions will be shown in German lighthouses. Of course, the studios are busy beating the drums and don’t shy away from unusual collaborations.

Certainly most of you would not have expected the collaboration with the cosmetics brand Lush. But it is precisely this company that is now releasing a limited series of products whose items are based on characters from the film. However, they do without classic cosmetics and concentrate on bathroom articles.
There are eight products in total and these at least give the impression that the designers have worked with the template. The bath bombs come in the form of a question mark block and the included soap block is shaped like items from the games. For example, you throw mushrooms, coins or stars into your water. In any case, they are priced at 18 dollars.
The shower gel with Mario branding, on the other hand, smells like cola. Luigi’s alternative is much healthier and has an apple scent. The smallest tube costs ten dollars. The description of Bowser’s shower jelly (a kind of soft soap) reads downright exciting: It smells like “cosy cinnamon leaf oil, tangy lime and sweet benzoin”. Cost: at least 8.50 dollars.
Peach’s shower jelly, on the other hand, smells of peach and pineapple, as does her body spray. Last but not least, there is a coin-shaped soap that smells like honey and costs 7.00 dollars. You can pack your yield in a gift box in the shape of a block of question marks for 5.00 dollars. Lush cosmetics are available either online or in a branded store.
