Game lag is at it again, and it’s no stranger to Dead Island 2.That said, the zombie shooter from Dambuster Studios has been delayed to April 28, 2023.
This is a brief 12-week delay to the game. In the big picture, it’s no big deal. I mean, the game was first announced in 2014. The year is 2022. Do the math. Frankly, Dead Island 2 has had a cumbersome process with the development team and delays.
That said, Dambuster Studios and Deep Silver recognize this. This statement
The delay announcement continued, “We’re going to take our time to make sure we deliver a game we’re proud of. To those of you who’ve been waiting for years, thank you for staying with us.”
Honestly, I don’t care if Dead Island 2 is still a few months away from being a game that the developers are happy with. Who wants to play another crappy game about taking on hordes of the undead? I’ve had enough of Back 4 Blood and the likes of Rainbow Six: Extinction, so hopefully Dead Island 2’s finishing touches make this game everything fans have been waiting for and more.
On the back of the delay news, a brand new trailer and some gameplay to tide you over will be shown at the Dead Island 2 showcase on December 6th.you will be able to grab it twitchYouTube, or the Dead Island site, hopefully it gets you ready for April’s content.
What do you think of this delay, will you buy Dead Island 2 in April? Personally, it’s gratifying to see the game get some TLC, and I’ll definitely be hacking and slashing my way through Los Angeles in April.
