Look, there’s a lot of movement in the top 10 on Steam this week. The throne still belongs to Palworld, but Enshrouded, a survival game from Europey, is snuggling up very close to the front runner.

Palworld has been leading all Steam metrics imaginable since its release, an absolute global success. Shortly afterwards, the Europe developers at Keen Games showed the courage to fish in the same pond. Although their survival game Enshrouded doesn’t reach the astronomical numbers of Palworld, it’s still enough for a million players and second place in the weekly top sellers.
Enshrouded combines game mechanics reminiscent of Valheim and Zelda. You explore a vast landscape, build a base using a sophisticated construction system, craft sharp-edged equipment and use it to destroy nasty monsters. All this to save the world, which is plagued by a mysterious nebula, and its remaining people.

Flying fists and the Yakuza
Bandai Namco and Ryu Ga Gotoku also release their big releases almost at the same time. We’re talking about Tekken 8, which achieved a strong third place in Steam’s top sellers, and Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, which ranked sixth last week.

Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth is the next entry in the new storyline from the Yakuza universe that began with Yakuza: Like a Dragon. This time the new protagonist Ichiban Kasuga meets the veteran warrior Kazuma Kiryu from the original game series, which connects the older with the younger era.
