Each person is free to play as they want and all ways to do it are respectable, as long as you don’t cheat. There is a type of player who usually push the limits of video games with results that usually result in errors, bugs and other curious things. Some have already caused havoc in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor and have discovered a curious “Unexpected Error”.
This time it’s not a bug or a corrupted game, but a warning for doing the kaffir beyond your means… or the possibilities of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. The user @StellaNoxEclair ha shared on Twitter a video in which he shows how he jumps from one edge of a ravine to the other. While it could be an endgame shortcut, it skips a fair chunk of story. And the game reacts:
The message is titled Unexpected error and says: “It sounds like you’ve skipped certain story elements. Continuing to play from this point may cause problems. If you decide to continue anyway, loading any future saves from the title screen will give you the option to return to this point“. The player can choose to load from the last save point or continue and risk that “things break“.
Developers are more than aware that there are people who push the limits of video games even surprisingly original points, but at Respawn they thought it would be a good idea to make these practices possible and at the same time that nobody misses a single detail of the story. A good solution!
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor It is already available on PS5, Xbox Series X / S and PC. Its release was marked by very questionable performance and some bugs, but the developers have been fixing the problems with various patches. While it’s no idea, the current state is infinitely better than it was at the beginning.
