There was a new sign of life from the System Shock Remake at the PC Gaming Show. Watch the trailer here!
Things are getting more and more concrete around the remake of the genre-defining classic System Shock. After it was announced in April that development was in its final stages, a thick trailer for the new edition w as finally presented at the PC Gaming Show. And it makes it clear that the long wait should have been worth it.
In the middle of the development period, Nightdive Studios noticed that the new edition was too far removed from the original. Accordingly, the points were changed again to remain true to the canon of the series. The new trailer offers a bit of everything: action, horror, foggy shadows, neon lights and of course the nasty artificial intelligence SHODAN.
Of course, a lot has changed graphically in the 30 years since the original, but at its core System Shock seems to have stayed true to itself as hoped. However, there is still no release date. It really shouldn’t be too long before we can lend a hand. In addition to the PC, the remake will also be released for consoles.
This trailer shows System Shock Remake in all its glory.
