For some time now, the Red Dead Online player community has been expressing frustration at the lack of content in the game, and Take Two has just officially spoken out.
Simply called Red Dead Online, the standalone and multiplayer portion of Red Dead Redemption 2 has been a massive hit since its release. However, the community is starting to get impatient with both the lack of content and communication on the subject.
Take-Two is a conscience of attention on Red Dead Online
Players tried everything for everything, expressing themselves both on the forums and via social networks and the SaveRedDeadOnline hashtag. This is to be put into perspective, obviously with GTA Online monitoring of which seems to be constant. It is also this difference in treatment that triggers “chatter”. Fair enough or not, it is certainly a fact to such an extent that Take Two CEO Strauss Zelnick has officially spoken out about our colleagues at IGN:
We work on many things at Rockstar Games. I’ve heard the frustration, it’s flattering that they want more content and Rockstar will say more in due course.
Generally, when the CEO speaks, it is because the company understands that action is needed. It remains to be seen whether Rockstar will officially announce anything or leave the players in the dark. A rumor has been suggesting for a few weeks that a PS5/Xbox series update will be underway with possibly a remaster of the first game.
