Get ready for the next battle: Tekken 8 has a slew of new demos coming to you soon.
Today, Bandai Namco revealed that Tekken 8 will have an offline demo available, allowing you to experience the game’s massive roster, dive into the cinematic story mode, see what’s great about Arcade Quest, and check out some of the content. The quirky elements of the gallery, for starters.

As we’ve already seen with the game’s closed beta and closed network testing, PS5 players will get priority – when the demo launches on December 14th, they’ll have access to the entire game a week earlier than PC and Xbox players ( More information below).
I played the demo at a recent event, and – let me tell you – it was pretty special. Tekken 8 looks set to bring an embarrassing fortune to gamers at launch, with more content said to be coming to the game via a season pass early next year.
Perhaps one of the greatest innovations we’ve seen in the game is that it builds on Tekken 7’s My Replay and Hints mode, opening the door to newcomers and giving them more tools to Intermediate players are getting better and better.

What does the “Tekken 8” offline demo include?
Bandai Namco is indeed rolling out this new demo, which is the most feature-packed test of the game to date. We’ve managed to play a full suite of online modes in CNT and CBT before, and this time around, the publisher wants to focus on more single-player content. Therefore, the demonstration will include the following tasters:
- story mode
- arcade mission
- Offline comparison
- gallery
It’s worth noting that none of the above modes will be available in full, but there’s enough included in the demo to give you a taste of what the final product will feel like.
