In a world that is still largely hidden, the announcements follow and, unfortunately, are similar. While E3 will ultimately not take place in 2021, the Tokyo-based trade show for the industry is preparing to celebrate a very sad anniversary.

The promise was too good to be true: Despite the good intentions of its organizers promising a return to normal in 2021, the teeming Tokyo Game Show will be back online. As with the 2020 edition, therefore, the thundering presentations from Japanese editors will take place via a dematrial event that will run from September 30th to October 3rd.

Players won’t be there like the Future Game Show, Demos of some titles are now available for downloadand all that will be missing is a background noise and sweet smell of katsu curry to be believed.
However, some lucky ones have since had the opportunity to walk through the doors of the Makuhari MesseAn event reserved for the press and influencers will still allow you to check out the latest news with the joystick in hand which (maybe) makes us forget that we won’t necessarily be vaccinated by then.
The online edition of the Tokyo Game Show 2021 will therefore take place from September 30th to October 3rd, 2021.
