BDM
After a longer absence than usual, the BDM (Bra – Denni – Mellot) was finally released in 2021-2022 to the delight of comic fans.
This edition of the comic quotes is from Philippe Mellot, Laurent Turpin, Isabelle Mozardec and Michel Denni.
A growing edition contains 1,475 pages with quotes for albums and other comics (magazines, PF …).
I will give some examples of quotations with pictures of the works in the original edition to enrich everything.
We start with Astrix with the first album, which costs a respectable price of 5000 dollars. Remember that the sites agree on parts in very good condition.
Blake and Mortimer’s albums are in great demand.
The number of the Small Format Blek negotiates 75 dollars.
Below Mickey’s Journal with the number 1 before the war and number 1 after the war, 60 dollars and 25 dollars respectively. It is best to collect these magazines in publisher bonds as they are better priced.
The Mickey Parade “Picsou Olympique” costs 100 dollars.
We find Blek Le Roc with the small format “Kiwi”, the number 1 of which costs 250 dollars.
The nickel feet have a reasonable rating. However, let’s point out “Les Pieds Nickels marin-pcheurs,” a relatively new comic book that, for some reason unknown to me, costs 100 dollars.
Comics with pif are numerous. To start a collection, starting with Pif Gadget can be a great option. However, it is necessary to privilege the beginnings with the “red period”.
Strange has very high ratings that seem excessive to me. It is very likely that the demand is greater than the supply, but 1,800 dollars for number 1 and 2,000 dollars for number 11 with the poster (attached) are still going strong.
Let’s finish with Tintin, for whom the BDM devotes many pages to determining the dates of the albums. Few can boast of the $ 35,000 issue.
A reference work, although some pages that apply to professionals can be discussed.
