The streamer Asmongold is not only the most famous WoW streamer in the world, but also one of the biggest critics of Blizzard’s MMO veteran. No wonder he and his Twitch colleagues from the organization OTK (One True King) are now presenting their own online role-playing game.
Prominent developers and Twitch streamers are working together
About half a year ago, OTK announced that the organization was working on a secret game project with the developer Notorious Studios. OTK includes prominent twitch streamers such as Asmongold, Paladin Pro Esfand and Sodapoppin, all of whom have become known for their vast expertise in MMOs such as World of Warcraft.
It is therefore only too fitting that the group is now working together with Notorious Studios: the developer exists mostly from old WoW veterans from Blizzard such as Chris Kaleiki, Doug Frazer and Cole Eastburn, who have each worked on the MMORPG for at least 13 years and held important positions.
Incidentally, the fact that streamers and game developers are working together is nothing completely new: DrDisrespect announced its own shooter some time ago, but the first pictures were not yet convincing:

DrDisrespect reveals shooter – there’s an argument immediately
This is how the new game will be made by the ex-WoW developer
What game is this going to be? The title of OTK and Notorious is currently called Project Honor – it is not known whether this is already the final name or just a working title. According to Notorious Studios, Project Honor will…
…be a class-based online action role-playing game where you can go on adventures alone or with friends to collect loot and resources.
The game is supposed to offer numerous features that are also known from WoW, such as the third-person perspective, spells, skills and melee combat, but the whole thing will a clear PvP focus
The classes currently confirmed are mages, priests and warriors. You can see the melee fighter in the first screenshots – and thanks to Unreal Engine 5, the whole thing already looks very chic:
If you feel like it now, you can go to the Developers website Sign up for the first play test, scheduled to take place sometime in 2023. Unfortunately, there is currently no real gameplay, let alone a release or early access date.
Are you excited for the upcoming online role-playing game from the former WoW developers? Or can they stay stolen from you with their PvP focus? Tell us in the comments!
