It won’t be too long before “The Boys” returns. The third season of the hilarious superhero parody starts on June 3rd, 2022 on Amazon Prime Video. A new Season 3 promo now also suggests that Billy Butcher (Karl Urban) will also have superpowers in the new episodes.
The mantra of the “Supe Killer” is actually: “The only good Supe is a dead Supe.” Here’s the Amazon Prime promo that raises the suspicion:
Here, Billy Butcher stares into the camera with striking yellow eyes. The above Twitter post is then overwritten with the meaningful sentence: “Soon it will be time to level the playing field.”
So will Billy Butcher take over the evil Vought Corporation’s superpowered Compound V in the new episodes of Season 3 of The Boys? In Yumiko (Karen Fukuhara) and Starlight (Erin Moriarty), his “The Boys” troop already has 2 real heroines with superhuman powers. However, in the face of extremely dangerous opponents like the Homelander, it certainly doesn’t hurt to have a little more firepower in your own ranks.
After all, in season 3, some completely new superheroes will appear in the form of Soldier Boy (“Supernatural” star Jensen Ackles) and Crimson Countess (“The Walking Dead” star Laurie Holden) – and in all likelihood they will also be involved on the evil side.

Fans have been waiting for a long time for a first trailer or short teaser trailer for the third season of “The Boys”. And this weekend it should finally be time. Because in the USA, the legendary South by Southwest Festival will take place from Friday, March 11th. And “The Boys” showrunner Eric Kripke and some cast members have announced themselves for this.
