Tomorrow, Wednesday, Ubisoft will give the starting shot for the third season in the racing game The Crew 2. We’ll tell you what you can expect in the first free update.
With “US Speed Tour East” tomorrow, episode 1, the starting signal for Season 3 in The Crew 2. Ubisoft has now announced this with regard to the open-world racing game. The corresp onding free update will be released on the platforms Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S, PS4, PS5 and PC (Epic Games Store, Ubisoft Store, Steam) as well as on Stadia and Ubisoft +.
In the first episode, Motorflix invites you to the largest tour along the east coast of the United States. Every week a new stage can be discovered in the race from city to city and special time-limited events can also be completed along the route. There will be a total of 16 new events during this episode.
In addition, the start of the new season also brings fresh improvements into the game. Here you can look forward to a revision of the LIVE Summits with an improved UI, the implementation of a more generous competition system and an expansion of participation to star level players. The new season also brings general improvements for the game, including a revision of the points system in stunt mode to prevent exploits, an option to swap performance parts between vehicles and revised checkpoints for more than 50 races.
The free update is also accompanied by a new Motorpass that includes four exclusive vehicles, including the Porsche 911 Carrera Turbo Pulse Performance Ed. (Touring Car), the Pontiac The Judge Sparrow Competition Ed. (Rally Raid) and the KTM XBOW-R Spear Racing Ed. (Alpha Grand Prix). There are also cosmetic items, outfits, currency packages (crew credits and bucks) and more.
Separated from the start of the season, there will continue to be free monthly vehicle drops; these include, for example, the Chevrolet Corvette C2 (Street Race) and the Honda CB1000R (Street Race). The release is planned for July 14th.
