Netflix has announced that The Cuphead Show will debut on the stable service on February 18.
This season will consist of 12 episodes of 12 minutes each.
Based on the award-winning video game, The Cuphead Show is a character-driven comedy series about the misadventures of Cuphead and his cautious brother, the Mug Man. The show will combine nostalgic fun, gimmicks, and include the duo’s ridiculously eerie nemesis, the Devil himself, who arrives on the scene to mess with our heroes as the two seek out fun and adventure in their hometown of Blackpool.
CJ Kettler will serve as executive producers, and Cuphead creators Chad and Jared Moldenhauer will serve as executive producers at Studio MDHR. The series will be produced by Netflix Animation, executive produced by Emmy and Annie Award-winning producer Dave Wasson (Mickey Mouse Shorts), and co-executive by Cosmo Segurson (Rocko’s Modern Life: Static Cling).
