For a long time it was noticeably quiet about the upcoming DC sequel “Aquaman 2” with Jason Momoa as Arthur Curry / Aquaman. But before shooting started in the summer, sequel director James Wan has now – much to the delight of the fans – revealed the official title of the second prank.
Jason Momoa’s next solo appearance in the DC Universe will be the title “Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom” as filmmaker Wan announced on Instagram:

The title announcement for “Aquaman 2” comes very late, because for the much later “Shazam! 2” (current release date: June 2, 2023) the title “Shazam! Fury of the Gods” has been fixed since August 2020 .
“Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom” will then be released in cinemas in the USA on December 16, 2022. In Germany, as usual, it should be a day earlier.
