The tactical role-playing game The DioField Chronicle will be officially available on September 22, but you can get an idea in advance from now on. A playable demo is now available.
Square Enix recently announced the September 22nd release date for The DioField Chronicle and promised a playable demo ahead of the release. The company has kept its word and has now made the trial version of the strategy RPG available.
From now on you can take a closer look at the tactical role-playing game on the platforms PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Switch and PC (via Steam). This tells an epic story of war and honor. The special feature of the demo: You can later transfer all the progress you make in this trial version to the full version and continue directly at this point. This applies to both achieved game and character progress.
What’s in the demo? Included is the first chapter of the RPG. You begin on the island of DioField, which suddenly finds itself in times of great uncertainty thanks to rising war powers and modern magic. The first chapter from the start of the game also includes fast-paced battles in which you command small troops from different battle types. Each one of them takes on a unique role on the battlefield. Among other things, you will meet the mercenaries of the blue foxes and plan your moves in a new, strategic real-time combat system – the “Real Time Tactical Battle” (RTTB).
