For a while it seemed like there wasn’t much new coming to The Division 2, but now the game is going into Seasons 10 and 11 later this year and Year 5 has also been confirmed.
Ubisoft has apparently decided to keep The Division 2 alive a little longer. Season 10: Price of Power will be released on September 13th and will feature new difficulty levels for Countdown Mode, 2 bases, quality of life improvements, apparel events, a new Season Pass and more.
The new season follows the story of the newest target to track down: General Peter Anderson. General Anderson, striving for power after the fall of Antwon Ridgeway while the True Sons seek a new direction, sees an opportunity to rebuild the team and bring down The Division.
Season 10 is the second of three Seasons for Year 4 of The Division. More details on everything available in Season 10 will be revealed in a separate The Division 2 live stream on September 12 at 4pm PDT.
This is apparently not the end of the game, because Ubisoft announced that work on the content for Year 5 will begin next year. So it seems the tactical third-person shooter is here to stay for a while.
