Although we already know that the release of The Elder Scrolls 6 will take a while, but it looks like it may be longer than we hoped.
According to Todd Howard, director of Bethesda Game Studios, The Elder Scrolls 6 Currently still in the “design” stage, it will be built on the Creation Engine 2 used to develop Starfield.
The next TES game will also “add some content” to the engine.
“Creation Engine 2 technology is built for both [games],” Howard told the Daily Telegraph. “It’s like a new technology base. Most of our development work is now done on Starfield, but everyone is doing everything, so these projects are a bit intertwined.
“I am very happy to regard “The Elder Scrolls 6” as still being designed [phase]…But we are checking the technology: “Will this handle what we want to do in the game?” Every game will have some new technology kits, so the Elder Scrolls 6 will add some things that the game needs to Creation Engine 2. . “
TES 6 debuted at E3 in 2018, which is out of date for Bethesda’s announcement of a game so far; however, the studio wants to assure fans that it is in production.
Zero details about the game have been provided, but it is designed to be playable for ten years or more, and the work will not be fully started before Starfield is launched. Bethesda stated that the game will be released in November 2022.
As we said before, take your time, we can wait. As long as the game is released before the ecstasy, we will remain patient.
