The latest freebies have arrived Epic Games Storeone of which is a pretty good MMO, and the other has you investigate a series of murders.
Apparently, as mentioned in the title, the MMO is The Elder Scrolls Online. Normally priced at $20, this week you can get this massive game for free.
In our opinion, it’s worth downloading, as we found it to be a lovely and quite fun game. If you’re looking for an MMO with lots of people to play with, you’re in luck because there are lots of people around.
According to the latest Steam leaderboard, in the past 30 days, the average number of players was 14,674, and the peak number of players was 22,788. As of press time, 15,884 people are currently playing the game – again, that’s only on Steam.
The MMO game is estimated to have around 19 million players, up from the 15 million reported in January 2020.
So yes, there are plenty of people who can play this game, so download it and give ESO a try.

Another free game this week is digital murderdeveloped by Mediatonic.
Set in 1996 Los Angeles, in the game you play as actress Honor Mizrahi, star of the hit detective show. She’s a little out of luck, as her boss is found dead minutes after firing her.
Ono, punished for her starring role in a murder mystery, will team up with the detective robot SCOUT to clear her name.
The detective duo investigates multiple murders at TV studios, award shows, drag clubs and more. You’ll also interrogate a collection of characters, all designed by Hato Moa, creator of Hatoful Boyfriend.
The Murder by Numbers soundtrack was also composed by Masakazu Sugimori of Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, Phantom Trick and Viewtiful Joe, among others.
Both games will remain free on the Epic Games Store until July 27when they are replaced by Homeworld Remastered Collection
